Chéticamp and Saint-Joseph-du-Moine are Acadian communities located on the west coast of Cape Breton Island in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. At a distance of approximately 140km north of the Strait of Canso, these communities lie in the shadow of the Cape Breton Highlands (part of the Appalachian Mountain Range), and hug the coast of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.

The population of approximately 4,000 is made up mostly of people of Acadian descent. This region, located on the Cabot Trail, has a natural beauty that will leave you in awe. In addition, you will find friendly people, delicious food, toe-tapping music as well as crafts unique to this corner of the world.
